Iโm Greg Thom, a videographer and editor based in Aberdeen, creating cinematic, story-driven promo videos that capture real moments and authentic energy. My work focuses on helping local businesses and creators stand out online through visually rich, social-ready content.
With a background in commercial video production, I bring a polished, modern finish to every project โ from short-form reels to full promotional pieces designed to stop the scroll. Gregapixel is my personal creative project โ a space to collaborate with local people and explore new ways of telling stories through film.

As part of a personal creative initiative, Iโm collaborating with a select number of local businesses to produce short promo videos. This is an opportunity for you to receive high-quality, social-ready content whilst I build my local storytelling portfolio.
Each collaboration includes:
Meeting to discussing ideas, location familiarisation and getting to know each other.
On-location shoot (in your business, studio, or venue)
Optional short interview or voice over to add personality and message
Professionally edited promotional video (up to 60 seconds) ready for social media.
Full social-optimsed exports (Instagram, TikTok, Etc.)
Usage rights granted to you - post freely on your channels

This collaboration is built on mutual benefit and transparency.
From you, I kindly ask:
Allow me to post the final video on my social channels and tag your business.
Credit @Gregapixel when sharing the content. (E.g., tag or mention)
Consider Gregapixel for future paid video projects or refer me to others.

Terms of Collaboration
1. Purpose of the Project
This video is created as part of a personal creative initiative to develop my portfolio. There is no charge for production, filming, or editing.
2. What You Receive
You will receive one finished social-ready video (length and style agreed upfront) delivered in standard formats suitable for online use.
3. Usage Rights for Your Business
You are free to use the final video across your website, social media, and any promotional channels at no cost.
4. Usage Rights for Gregapixel
By taking part, you agree that I may use the footage and final edit for my portfolio, website, social channels, and showreels.
5. Brand Attribution
Because this project is offered free of charge, a small on-screen Gregapixel end-card or logo mark will be included in the final video.
6. Creative Control
This is a collaborative creative project. You are welcome to give input, but final stylistic decisions (edit, pacing, colour grade, music choice, etc.) remain at my discretion to maintain consistency with my portfolio.
7. Revisions
You may request one round of light revisions (e.g., small text tweaks or minor trims). Major re-edits, restructuring, or additional versions are not included.
8. Filming Requirements
You agree to provide reasonable access to your location, staff, or products needed for the shoot, and to ensure all individuals being filmed give consent.
9. Cancellations / Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hoursโ notice. If the project is cancelled entirely, no fees are owed on either side.
10. Payment
There is no cost for this project unless extra services are requested (longer edits, multiple versions, retouching, professional VO, additional shoot days, etc.). Any extras will be quoted separately and agreed in writing.
11. Delivery Timeline
All projects are created around my availability alongside full-time commitments. Because of this, I donโt provide fixed deadlines. Iโll keep you updated throughout the process and share the finished edit as soon as itโs ready.
