Over 2000 primary six pupils from all over aberdeen city participate in a one mile circuit of the running track at Aberdeen Sports Village.

My roll on this was primarily operating the B-Cam (Sony A7s III) on the gimbal, and setting up for a full day timelapse of the event.

Fortunately, once set up the timelapse camera takes care of itself. Unfortunately, shooting footage of various schools of kids running a mile throughout the day can begin to get a little tedious.

Taking inspiration from recent trends in Nike adverts and high intensity sporting social media posts. We Shot a mix of real time, 50fps and 100fps. This allowed us to speed ramp time to give some moments extra drama. In addition, something I am really proud of, is how the slow shutter/ 8mm style effect delivered on adding an extra element of energetic charisma. This effect mixed with sound effects I feel really pulled the entire video together.
